You are spiritually awakening, and committed to becoming all you were born to be.  You have been consistently engaged in personal growth, or spiritual development for years, and sense that now is the time for you to step out in the fullness of your true self, in service in a big way.  Your inner knowing tells you that you have a destiny to fulfill that is bigger than you could have imagined a few years ago, and you are listening and taking this still inner voice seriously. You May also be Feeling:   Frustrated or discouraged by the gap between what you know intuitively deep inside is true about yourself, your gifts, talents and capabilities, and what you are called to do, and the daily circumstances, situations and experiences of your life, even though you have been on a path of personal growth and spiritual development for many years.   Uncertain how to move forward to open up your greatest gifts, and begin or move forward in fulfilling the next stage on your destiny path.    Dissatisfied on a deep level in the culture of the organizations you are a part of, within your communities, or your closest relationships, but unsure why, or how to change them, or what you are even seeking instead.                                                                                                        Restless, sensing there is to be more to your life than you are currently experiencing, but uncertain how to find it or bring it forth.   Alone in your quest, since other women in your life may not have similar questions, or be on a similar search.  It may feel like you don't know where you are going, or how to get there, but you feel deeply compelled to pursue this quest.                                                             "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."                        Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love      Uncertain what a fully spiritually awakened women looks like - how she creates her life, and how she shows up in service as her True Self, in her relationships with her spouse and family, in the communities in which she lives and in the fulfillment of her life purpose.   Invisible, as though the real you, and your real gifts and capacities for contribution are not seen or valued by those around you.   Depressed, anxious, worried, stressed, or angry that you haven't been able to figure it out by yourself.   Deep disquiet in your soul.  Like a mother with a persistent, deep worry about her child, you can't let it go, can't put it down, and can't rest until you bring forth what your deepest knowing tells you is true about you, and accomplish what you are here to do.

Though it may often feel like it, you are not alone.  Growing numbers of women across the globe are feeling a similar restlessness and stirring deep within us.  I have seen this disquiet in the lives of growing numbers of the women who have sought my help in recent years.  Several years ago, as I began the journey of taking my gifts and calling to their fullest extent, I too, felt a similar restlessness, similar doubt, similar questions, anxiousness or worry, and deep disquiet.  I began seeking for and listening to spiritual guidance about this deep disquiet, sensing that I was being led to find something big - something important - something that would open my life and my life purpose to a level beyond my previously limited scope of understanding and identity. As I followed the inner spiritual guidance I receive, I have been guided to study the feminine path of spirituality, and feminine spiritual power.  The beginning of this quest is the foundation of my book, Cinderella Wisdom, (to be released in 2011), so I know well the disquiet and questioning, the experience of reaching for something you don't have a clear sense about, the rediscovery of deeply held inner truth and esoteric wisdom long lost, and ultimately, the opening of a vision of potential and identity beyond your previous imaginings. Most spiritually awakening women have been working on ourselves, striving to accomplish worthwhile goals of personal growth, spiritual growth, loving marriages and other relationships, for years.  While we have been making progress, we often feel there is much more to experiencing true fulfillment and flourishing in life.

Why is it, that with all the personal development, spiritual growth and accomplishments Western women have achieved in the last fifty years, we feel this restlessness, this deep disquiet and reaching for more? For millennia now, the world we live in has been based on masculine models.  In the West, from our institutions, large and small, to our organizations, governments, family models, and culture, we live in a world that is predominantly defined and organized by the masculine world view and models of living.  Male traits and strengths have been so elevated and institutionalized, at the expense of the feminine, that the feminine spiritual path, feminine gifts, contributions and feminine spiritual power have been devalued, marginalized and to a significant degree, lost.     Beyond the rhetoric or stridency of the feminism of the past (which ironically is often based on a male model of power and leadership), at the heart of what has been lost is the nature of feminine spiritual power itself, which in essence is the co-creative power of Being and Relationship, together with the skills, and the tools, for accessing and developing our feminine pathway of spiritual power. Among many other things, the masculine way is to work on yourself alone, to create your own success, to be a rugged individualist.  We as women have been acculturated into this model, along with men.  And the irony of it is that the masculine alone will never reach the fullness of development or potential. In all of Nature, a different pattern is demonstrated - the fullness of development and potential is created by the reciprocal co-creative partnership of feminine and masculine.  Alone, the masculine model of power and growth for reaching our fullest potential is only half the divine pattern.  This masculine model is the pattern of creating from the outside in, and this is the pattern of creating through struggle.  The masculine path is often disconnected from the self-generative sources of spiritual connection within.  When we as women pursue a path of personal growth, healing, spiritual development and empowerment based on the masculine, outside-in pattern, we are engaged on a pathway that is inherently foreign to our natures and deepest essence as women.  This pathway tends at heart to be a solitary path of struggle, lack of deep fulfillment, connection and joy, because we are disconnected in a profound, deep way from ourselves.  More than anything else, the deep disquiet many women feel, stems from this disconnection within themselves.  Being fundamentally disconnected from ourselves, it is difficult to create real connection and emotional intimacy within our other relationships. The masculine, outside-in pattern of creation is also a pattern of creation through struggle in other areas of life as well.  The result of the outside-in struggle cycle is a disconnection from the deepest sources of truth, creative possibility, deep connection and joy.  Deep disquiet, yearning for more, lack of genuine fulfillment and flourishing result because we are disconnected from the truth of ourselves.

What is the Feminine Pathway of Spiritual Power? Power as generally used, and dictionary-defined, means the capacity to do, to act, to control, and to have control over a thing or person.  The feminine pathway of spiritual power that is calling to be birthed within each of us, is a different kind of feminine spiritual power; one that the world has rarely seen, since ancient times, and a kind of power that arises from deep within ourselves, as women. Feminine Spiritual Power includes intuitive knowingness about people or events, for example, and direct spiritual connection that many women experience, yet discount and disconnect from because it is not viewed as logical.  It acknowledges the lessons and skills that we have gained from our passageway through and mastery of the masculine power pathway, and brings us full circle to the ancient knowledge, practices, skills and life-giving capacity that arise when we are deeply and fundamentally connected to our true identities as women - and when we return to connecting with and trusting our inner intuitive knowing, and direct spiritual connection.  It is anchored in the generative co-creative life force energy within each of us, and harnesses it for the co-creation of loving life-giving contribution, in our relationships, in our communities, our societies, our institutions and ultimately, the world. Every women in the time in which we live, needs to rediscover and reconnect with the innate Feminine Spiritual Power that lays dormant within her.  Doing so opens the pathway to truly transform and heal her own life, to co-create the life and relationships of her dreams, and to claim and fulfill her destiny - as a woman.  Ultimately, every awakening woman reconnecting with and serving from our own innate Feminine Spiritual Power, will midwife the birth of the global change in consciousness and culture the world is hungering for.

How do we return to the pathway of Feminine Spiritual Power to truly transform our lives, manifest our deepest desires, realize our fullest potential, and fulfill our destinies? The Feminine Spiritual Power pathway starts within each awakening woman, and move outward.  Before we can begin to act from this inner seat of generative, life-giving co-creative power in our outer lives, relationships, profession and communities, we must                    Reconnect with our deepest truth within, and                   Free ourselves from the limitations and wounds of inaccurate self-identities,                            perceptions, and family and cultural patterns.  As the masculine pathway is to work on ourselves alone, from the outside in, the Feminine Spiritual Power pathway involves community - a new community of women, awakening to the Truth about ourselves, and committed to fulfilling our calls to greatness. As the heart of Feminine Spiritual Power in essence is the power of Relationship, we as spiritually awakening women need to join together in a new way of relationship.  We need to co-create a crucible - a holy container for transformation, spiritual growth and empowerment - within a sisterhood with other awakening women.  Within this sisterhood we grow and develop the seeds already planted within each woman, first within ourselves and in relationship together, as we learn and practice together the Feminine Spiritual Power principles, practices and skills to :       Truly heal, transform and flourish in our lives and relationships   Achieve our dreams   Fulfill our destinies The masculine model of individual self-sufficiency is no longer adequate for awakening women in the world today.  This is the fundamental message of the deep disquiet so many of us feel.  To realize the deep fulfillment, satisfaction, joy, and achievement of our dreams, and accomplish our highest purpose our hearts and deepest inner knowing are calling us toward, we need to step into the circle of sisterhood, and together, learn and practice these principles, skills and practices. From within ourselves, and from within the community with other awakening women, we can then move outward into other relationships, communities and institutions to be a catalyst for life-giving contribution, change, healing and transformation,  as we embody in our living experience and presence, the power, grace and life-giving impact of an awakening woman who knows who she truly is, and who is anchored and balanced in her true Feminine Spiritual Power.   An awakening woman who is anchored in her Feminine Spiritual Power has achieved alignment and balance from the inside out and has a radiance and vitality that is magnetic.  She radiates warmth and graciousness because she knows who she is and is at peace within her self - spirit and mind, body and soul.   She has the inner resources, skills and tools, and is stepping into the highest fullness of her potential and destiny. She is a magnificent, life-giving beneficent influence for good among all she knows.  She leaves a loving legacy in her wake that is long remembered.    Together, our loving legacies will change the world and shepherd in the fundamental change in consciousness and culture that the world is calling for at this most auspicious time in the history of our planet.

What kind of unique community do spiritually awakening women need? The community awakening women need is distinct from everyday women's groups.  Most towns of any size have many, such as book clubs, garden clubs, services clubs, women's church groups, or women's forums.  The community needed by awakening women to rise to your fullest potential and fulfill your destinies, is one grounded in a new way of being with and for ourselves, and standing with and for each other.  It is one whose primary purpose is to provide the sacred crucible for women's transformation, which awakening women need to rediscover and master the principles, practices and skills as we step into the full embodiment of our True Selves, while engaging the four-stage process of awakening to our full spiritual growth and development on the Feminine Spiritual Power pathway.  This sacred container of the community illuminates the pathway, and teaches through modeling, mentoring, precept and practice,  the principles, skills and practices needed for our development into the fully realized, spiritually empowered women we are called to become - as we move forward in fulfilling our highest potential and achieving our destinies.    Does this speak to your heart, and are you searching for such a community?
